HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

aaron is in middletown this week...so not a very exciting valentines day.  well, i did get to spend an hour shoveling my car out of my driveway...that's always fun!!

ellie was home from school again today so we played a lot of Mario 3!!!  we're so old school!! 

anyways, i'm excited about the retreat...it will be fun hanging out with everyone!

so, we've been back from mexico for a few days now, and it's almost surreal looking at the pictures i took down there....i can't believe that it's already been almost a week since we left agua viva. 

i won't even try to describe the whole trip in a xanga entry, but i will say that it was a wonderful and humbling experience.

i worked at the medical clinic most of the week and dr. ramone was incredible.  he has such a love for the Lord and doing His work and also a love for the mexican people.  he daily serves the Lord with joy in his heart....something for me to strive for.

the group was awesome!  we had huge mix of people and ages, and it was so cool to REALLY know different people that i would normally just say hi to on sunday morning.  the relationships that i built on this trip were AMAZING and i think that was magnified by seeing their love for serving the Lord.

i pray that through this experience i will continue to strive to have a servants heart and to give the Lord all of myself here, and not just in mexico.........ADIOS!

WE LEAVE FOR MEXICO ON SATURDAY!!!

I'M TRYING TO PACK TODAY, I REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE THAT WE ARE LEAVING IN 2 DAYS!!  PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR GROUP AS WE TRAVEL.  ALSO THAT EVERYONE IS SPENDING TIME IN THE WORD AND IN PRAYER PREPARING THEIR HEARTS FOR THIS AWESOME TIME OF MINISTRY. 

i am really going to miss aaron and ellie!!!

this is such an uplifting passage and speaks of so many of the Lord's promises for us!

it is so beautiful out today!!  i played hopscotch with ellie and drew with chalk on the sidewalk....a successful day in my book!!
